Beauveria bassiana to control borers

Introduction: It is a bio control Entomopathogenic fungi to control Agri. Pests only.

Carrier material: Talc based formulation with hibrite powder and antihistamines.

Preparation: Mix 1 Kg of Beauverium + 200 ml of Neem oil + 1/2 Kg Jaggery + 200 Litres of water. Stir well and apply immediately. No need to keep it for fermentation.

Dosage for foliar Spray:

About 200 litres of the above prepared solution per acre depending on the age of the crop. Spray the solution as such on the plant covering top and lower surface of the foliage during early morning or late evening hours. It should be done in advance before the plant is infested with pests and diseases. (more effective on larvae)

Dosage for Soil Application : Dissolve 1 Kg of Beauverium only + 1/2 Kg Jaggery in 200 litres of water and drench the soil thoroughly for the control of root grubs.

Benefits:

i. Beauverium controls Bollworms and White flies in cotton, Tomato, Brinjal Etc. Root grubs in Sugar cane and Cardamom Berry Borer in Coffee, Tea Mosquito, Flush worms and Helopeltis in Tea.

ii. Beauverium in combination with Verticillium is very effective to control borers, soft body insects and all pathogenic insect population in their larval stages.
